Biotree Urn for People

Honor the memory of a loved one with a lasting, living tribute that returns life to nature. The Biotree Urn for People is a 100% biodegradable cremation urn designed and handcrafted in South Africa to transform human ashes into a thriving memorial tree.

Made entirely from natural plant fibers and eco-friendly organic binders, the urn features a dual-chamber design. The lower chamber houses cremains inside a compostable bio-ash bag, while the upper chamber holds a nutrient-dense dehydrated soil disc that expands when watered to support indigenous seeds. As the tree grows, the urn naturally decomposes, allowing roots to integrate with the earth. Complete with a memorial bracelet and a unique registration code to create an online tribute page and geo-tag your tree on the Biotree global map, the Biotree Urn offers a meaningful, sustainable memorial that gives back to the planet.
