Quick setup routine

  1. Condition: Treat new tap water with AquaSafe before it reaches the tank.
  2. Seed: Add SafeStart to support your biofilter (after filter clean or new setups).
  3. Balance: Use EasyBalance weekly as directed to help stabilise parameters.
  4. Test weekly: pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate—adjust maintenance based on results.
  5. Control nutrients: Dose NitrateMinus if NO₃ rises; use AlguMin if algae appears.

Planted tank tips

  • Fertilise: Dose PlantaMin regularly; trim old growth to direct nutrients to new leaves.
  • Light: Keep a consistent photoperiod (generally 6–8 hours to start) to limit algae.

Aeration & hardware

  • Right size airstone: Match stone length to tank size; place near the back for tidy bubbles.
  • Use a check valve: Prevents back-siphon into your air pump during outages.

Care & storage

  • Shake liquids before use; cap tightly; store cool, dry and dark.
  • Only dose per label instructions; more is not better—retest before re-dosing.
