What's the difference between Mirra-Cote and Mirra-Cote with BioZinc?
Although the products form part of the same range of supplements, their formulations are different in order to better meet the unique needs of your pet.
How is Mirra-Cote® with BioZinc different from Mirra-Cote?
Mirra-Cote with BioZinc has an Omega 6:3 ratio of 5:1. The higher proportion of Omega-3 can help inflammatory skin conditions. Not only is there more Omega-3 per millilitre but key minerals and vitamins, known to play an important role in various skin dermatoses, have been added. Just as important as the function they perform is the consistent way they are delivered — Biotin, Pyridoxine, water-soluble Zinc, and Methionine have been emulsified with the EFA oil blend to ensure a smooth delivery of these nutrients with each pump activation.
Original MIRRA-COTE can be used for general maintenance and treatment of dry and dull skin while Mirra-Cote with BioZinc is excellent for those problem skins.
How do you use Mirra-Cote?
Give once daily mixed with food. It should be given in the following dosages:
- Cats, small dogs: ¼ to ½ medicine measure (1-2 pump strokes)
- Medium-large dogs: ¾ to 1 medicine measure (3-5 pump strokes)
