Protexin is a multi-strain probiotic (the greater the range of strains, the greater the range of essential functions which they perform). The micro-organisms in Protexin are carefully chosen for their ability to multiply rapidly and colonise the gut for maximum probiotic activity.
The micro-organisms are pure strains, cultivated in laboratory conditions and then coated using a unique process — this protects the organisms from heat and enables them to survive the acidity of the stomach.
It is suitable for all animals including those which are pregnant and lactating. Use it to normalise digestion and stimulate immunity. It also aids in the control of diarrhoea of non-specific or dietary origin and should be used during, and after, all antibiotic therapy to restore stomach microflora. It also should be given as soon as possible after birth to establish the correct balance of microflora in the digestive system. including those which are pregnant and lactating.

I bought a 1kg, mainly because we sprinkle it over our breakfast and because it works very. I have a fussy dachshund and she finds the Protexin very palatable. I add it to her food daily and have never had stomach issues with her. It tastes just like icing sugar and you can use it as nectar to attract sugar birds to your garden.
Absolutely a must for your dogs. Mine have daily and have never looked back, before was constant tummy issues which are now a thing of the past. We even use ourselves
