Royal Canin Maxi Ageing 8+ Wet Dog Food Pouch

Senior large breed dogs benefit significantly from wet food. The soft, palatable chunks are easy to eat for dogs with dental sensitivity, the gravy encourages eating in dogs with declining appetite, and the high moisture content supports kidney function and hydration.

This formula is enriched with EPA, DHA and vitamins to support continued vitality and quality of life. Targeted minerals and nutrients support ageing bones and joints that have carried 26–44 kg for many years. Highly digestible proteins ensure maximum nutrient extraction even as digestive efficiency declines.

Combine with Royal Canin Maxi Adult 5+ dry food for mixed feeding, or increase the wet food ratio for older dogs with reduced appetite.

• Bone and Joint Support: Supports ageing joints through a combination of minerals and nutrients, helping maintain mobility and comfort in senior large breed dogs.

From what age should I start feeding Maxi Ageing 8+ Wet?

This formula is designed for large breed dogs from 8 years of age. You can also start using it alongside Maxi Adult 5+ dry food from 5 years to introduce joint and vitality support earlier.

My senior dog has lost his appetite — will this help?

Yes, the rich gravy and soft chunks are designed to be highly palatable and encourage eating. Wet food usually has a stronger aroma than dry food, which can help stimulate appetite in older dogs. You can also gently warm the food to enhance the aroma.

Can I feed this on its own?

Yes — this is a complete and balanced food.

• Sole wet feeding may suit very senior dogs with dental issues.
• It may also suit dogs with significantly reduced appetite.

What size are the pouches?

Each pouch contains 140 g of wet food, designed for the larger portions appropriate for big dogs.
