Tetra Nitrate Test Kits are an ideal way of ensuring that your water quality is healthy for your precious fish. The simple colour changing method is easy to use, and offers accurate results every time.

Nitrite is produced from the breakdown of ammonia in the filter. Nitrite is highly toxic to fish, but is usually removed from the water by the bacteria which live inside the filter. This can be a common problem in new ponds with an immature filtration system.

If you find that there are high levels of Nitrite in your water it is recommend that you seek assistance, or risk the health of your ponds inhabitants.
