You are able to select the time your pet is fed down to the minute. Once the schedule is set, your pet’s meals will automatically be served at the same time each day. This solved two major problems in my home - my cat was running out of food overnight and would throw up bile in the morning from an empty stomach and her mood changed once her daily food allowance was corrected to the amount for her age and weight. This feeder has changed the game for us and made my cat much happier and more content. She now knows that even if she cleans her bowl, in a few hours there will magically be more. She has become more loving to her servant because she feels she is no longer being deprived of food. The five slots are great because I can set meal times ±5 hours apart so she never goes hungry but is eating the right amounts to keep her weight in check. The shape of the bowl also makes it look like there is more food than there is so my cat feels like she doesn't have to wolf it all down as soon as the bowl turns but can graze and come back to it throughout the day. From a human use point of view, it was super easy to set up. Only comment on this model versus the more expensive app controlled models are that it takes up a ±30cm x 35cm of floor space, you have to refill it daily, and it makes a little bit of noise when it turns to the new bowl - but you quickly get used to that. However, these are not a major burden and it is the most affordable model on the market and really does the trick.
