Sebbaderm Antidermatosis Shampoo
What can you use SebbaDerm for?
Some pets suffer from seborrhoea and other nonspecific dermatoses and develop unsightly scales and crusts, or show excessively oily secretions on the skin. This may be accompanied by itching. Mildly antibacterial SebbaDerm Shampoo will clean up these scales and crust and reduce the oily secretion.
How does SebbaDerm work?
SebbaDerm Shampoo contains salicylic acid to prevent itching, sulphur which has both antiseptic and parasiticidal properties as well as a substance that has strong antifungal and antibacterial action. Both sulphur and salicylic acid are keratolytic agents (i.e. they promote the shedding of dry, flaky skin).
How do you use SebbaDerm?
Wet the coat well with warm water. Apply the shampoo generously and create a good lather. Wash well and rinse with warm water. Repeat the application, this time leaving the shampoo on the coat for as long as possible (say 10 minutes) before rinsing with water. Always dry animals thoroughly after washing and avoid getting shampoo into the eyes. Repeat as often as directed by the veterinarian.
Ingredients:
N-tricloromethylmercapto-4-cyclohexene-l ,2-dicarboximide 2%, salicylic acid 2% and precipitated sulphur 2% in a mild shampoo base. Both sulphur and salicylic acid are keratolytic agents.
