Fitting Instructions
1. Unclip the head strap (b). Hold the padded noseband (a) and a treat so your dog places their nose under the noseband (fig.1).
2. Repeat until your dog is comfortable with the headcollar.
3. While your dog eats a treat, rest the noseband on their muzzle and clip and adjust the head strap (b) behind their ears. You should be able to slip one finger underneath the strap. Offer treats and praise.
4. If your dog is sensitive to touch, adjust the head strap close to the correct fit before clipping it on.
5. Attach the collar attachment (d) by looping it under your dog’s collar and reattaching it to the metal ring (fig.2). Adjust length if needed. Continue offering treats and praise.
6. Engage your dog in play or keep them busy to reduce rubbing at the noseband. After a few minutes, gently remove the headcollar.
7. Repeat several times daily for up to a week, gradually increasing wear time so your dog learns to enjoy it.
8. When ready, clip your lead to the metal ring of the Easy-Steer System and begin your walk. Use consistently for training (fig.3).
